EL CAJON, Calif. – The SDCC men's basketball team closed out their regular-season schedule Saturday night against Life Pacific.

The Hawks, unfortunately, shot just 27 percent from the field en route to a 66-49 loss to the Warriors.

Before the game, SDCC and head coach Dwayne Cosby celebrated its seniors. One of those seniors registered a double-double on the night. Jermaine Camacho-Small led the team with 13 points and 11 rebounds.

LPU scored first just 13 seconds into the game. K'lon Williams added a layup and later added a triple that capped a 7-0 run for the Hawks. The 5-point lead was the largest for the Hawks of the night. The Warriors grabbed the lead for good with 16:11 remaining in the first half. SDCC was able to get their deficit back down to one point after Josh O'Campo and Dillon Voyles exchanged buckets.

The Warriors regained their double-digit lead with 4:03 left in the half and kept a double-digit lead the rest of the game.

SDCC will take on The Master's University in the first round of the GSAC tournament on Wednesday with a tipoff scheduled for 7:15 p.m. The tournament will be hosted by Hope International.
