Info For Visiting Teams
The San Diego Christian College Athletic Training staff would like to welcome you to our campus. This page was created to assist visiting teams prior to and during their visit to the home of the Hawks. We hope this information will make your trip planning easier and will answer any questions you may have regarding the care and safety of your athletes. Sports Medicine Services Provided:
Members of the San Diego Christian College Sports Medicine staff will be available to assist you during your visit. The following athletic training services will be available to your team on the day of competition:
- Use of our facilities for taping and treatments.
- A certified athletic trainer will be in attendance at the event.
- A physician will be on-call.
The following supplies will be provided at each event:
- Water
- Water Bottles
- Injury Ice and Bags
- Biohazard Kit
- Towels (indoor sports only)
- Portable Table (outdoor sports only)
- Emergency Equipment (crutches, splints, vacuum splints)
- Cell phone
The training room will be available 2 hours prior to competition. If you need access to our facilities at an earlier time, please contact the head athletic trainer prior to your visit or make arrangements upon your arrival.
If your team is traveling without a certified athletic trainer please:
Notify the head athletic trainer in advance via e-mail or phone.
Send any taping supplies that your team requires.
Send written statement indicating parameters for the use of electrical and mechanical modalities for each athlete requiring treatment.
The SDC athletic training staff will gladly accommodate your team's needs if prior arrangements have been made.
